Rees

Rees is the oldest town on the lower Lower Rhine (granted town rights in 1228). Remnants of the medieval fortifications, cozy bastions and a lovely Rhine promenade shape the town. All around, the Rhine meadows, bird sanctuaries and the Reeser Meer lake beckon for nature experiences.
